Predictions and Opinions of the top 12

Rankings of the Final 12
First I'll  review each act and state what I think about each of them , than I will predict, than say what I think should be.

Restless Road- A group  comprised of  what a lesser Chase Likens , a slightly stronger ,Paul Jolley, and a deep voiced kid who is losing steam. Not going to last long. With Rachael and Rion, they have 0% chance of winning and hardly a  2% chance at making the finale.

Alex&Sierra- Is it going to be the case that they will be the good-bad-good-bad  performance pattern act that's in every singing show every season. Maybe. Just don't sing blurred lines, it was cheesey.

Sweet Suspense- Well, there is no other group that has a shot at winning. They still have work to do though.

Jeff Gutt- there's nothing special about any performance  . People are calling Tim boring, when Jeff might be the most boring act of the competition.

Lillie- Improving,  had a much more entertaining time this time . She should try something upbeat though

Rachael- Again  growing. She probably won't win because two country acts won't win in a row.

Tim- As I said before, should sing a calmer "Joust The Way You Are" by Bruno Mars if he wants to stick with slow songs. Otherwise he needs to perform an upbeat song and fast.

Carlos- Great emotion but needs to pronounce the words better. He has a great voice and great emotion.


Carlito- Like Tim needs to work on Energy, Carlito emotion. I mean we saw it in dreaming of you, but not much in Maria Maria.

Ellona- Meh. She is a tad uninteresting. Danie had emotion while Ellona not much. Ellona will last not many weeks whereas Danie could've won the whole thing.  Ellona doesn't have much stage presence

Khaya-She's great. She performed well. She is an excellent performer.

Rion- Could possibly win, though very unlikely that two country acts will win in a row on this show.

My predictions:

12.Jeff- people will get bored of him quickly

11. A&S-unless they change it up

10.Ellona-Same place as Arin got eliminated. She's decent, but people will get mad at her for being in the finals twice.

9.  Restless Road- People will be bored of them soon, and realize they aren't that good.

8. Tim-He's great, but he needs to change it up

7.Lillie- Same as Tim

6. Khaya- because people give her unfair criticism

5.Rachael-Only one country act will make top 4 and probably none the finale

4.Carlos- This is my guess

3.  Carlito- Great and entertaining
2.Sweet Suspense- great group

1.Rion- best country chance of winning. Actually a country act does have a shot at winning. She's the most likely because she is more modern than Rachael, and has lots of talent unlike the not-really -country band.

X Factor USA Season 3's top 16 live: Two Trainwreck group performances but a lot of improvement for most others.

Rankings

We have a pretty good bunch this year. Better than most of last year ( except maybe 5H

Anyways I think  each category has a person who has a shot at winning (yes, even the boys), and I will rank each of the top 16 performances

Boys- While they may be the weakest category this year they're leaps and bounds better than last years young adults. They have some work to, but if Carlos can have more control, if Tim can let down his wall and overcome nerves,  an if Carlito can have more emotion in his vocals there may be a boy in the finale.

Performances from last night

The boys were decent from last night. However each made a mistake .

Josh- His performance was a boy version of Ellona's except not as good.  Although he was  my bottom 2 of the night.  Even if he was third best of the night add that together with his monstrous version of his 4cc performance he deserved to go

Carlito- My other bottom 2 of the nigh- He was more entertaining than Josh, but if there's no emotion in an entertaining performance, it could get dull and mean nothing.  

Wasn't the case Tuesday  but .

Tim- he's boring. Nope. His performance of Always was boring and a few steps behind his usual performance level. Yes.  He needs to change up a somewhat modern song and make it his own if he wants to stick to slow performances. It seems to work well for a certain group.  A good song. that would work for him would be just the way you are . 

Carlos- His performance was decent and you could hear his emotion in his vocals.  He had a good performance.

My rankings for the boys performance's

I would have sent home Josh though, because Carlito has more potential.

Girls- arguably the strongest group, so it's debatable that Demi made te right choice. 

Khaya- her performance was great. Why don't people like her? She said during the 4cc she was crying when each of the boys and girls were eliminated. Very compassionate. And before you start hating there is three and ONLY three logical and understandable  reasons why she hesitated when asked if she liked animals:

1. She had a terrible experience with animals when she was little. ( ex. an animal attacked her, a pet ran away, etc.)

2. She didn't know what kind of animals he meant.( Most people aren't big fans of spiders or sharks)

3. She was confused that he would ask that question in a singing competition show.

Rion- Probably the standout of the night. She was great. You could feel her emotion in the song.

Danie- While it may not have been an energetic performance, it was filled with passion and emotion. 

Ellona- While she was decent , her voice didn't match the  beat . Like Carlito, she needs to add emotion

Ranking of the girls performances

While I would've eliminated Ellona , Danie was the one eliminated. Tough choices.

Overs- Possibly the best category as a whole tonight. Like others underestimated the guys, I underestimated the overs.

Jeff- He is getting better, but still I'm not a big fan. 

Lillie- Finally, she's not boring. She did a great job with this song and earned her spot.

James- Improved and did much better than Jeff.

Rachael- Did a great job and arguably the best of the overs tonight

Groups- Two groups stood out and two were near-trainwrecks, one of which hadn't been before. However both groups that  trainwreck performances were through meaning only one standout survived

RoxXy Montanna- Eliminating them was stupid. They could've been stars .  They were sleepy that night but I'd rather be sleepy than see a bad performance.

Restless Road- the idea of them winning is a joke. They were bad and only gotten worse as a whole. With actual, talented country acts, they won't last much past 8th if even that.

Alex&Sierra - this group has stepped down a bunch and significantly lowered their chances of winning with this subway station/ lounge like performance. The song started out like it was going to be the "you didn't have to cut me off song"  but it was a dull, Vegas bar-like performance. Unless they comeback next week and the week after, etc. and change up their style while still keeping it their own Sweet Suspense will be the last group standing. 

Sweet Suspense- Although they were the best of the groups, and the only group that has a shot at  the finale or 1st place.

Top 10 Four Chair Challenge Performances

With the live show starting this Tuesday I thought I should reflect on the top four chair challenge performances I like to take voice, creativity, emotion, and performance all into consideration

10.Rylie Brown-  Angels-She had a stage presence, emotion, and vocals as well as substance. I'd prefer her over Ellona but oh well. She is going to be a wildcard if their is one.

9. Alex &Sierra The One that I Want- a little on the boring side but they're decent. Good chemistry, but sometimes they can get annoying with their lovey-doveyness.

8.Good News-Landslide. I liked their performance and no offense but they were the only country group act that sounded fully country with each member  at around equal skill( surprisingly the different skill trio made it through) and  they were a country act that didn't make my ears bleed.(if a  country group gets a wildcard hopefully it's not the screaming duo no offense).

7. Timmy Thames- How did he not make it through. If I were Paulina I would have ignored Nosh Levi and kept the category the way it was.

6. Carlos- Emotion- and solid vocals. Definitely will go far. He should have picked a song that felt more than 1 minute long but overall he is good.
Now it gets very hard.

5.Danie Geimer-Solid emotion and vocals and hopefully will go far

4. Carlito Olivero- Neat broadway  vocals, He will go far , and might just be the last guy standing

the best 3 performance were Khay's, Rion's and Roxxy Montanna's

Honorable mentions go to Sweet Suspense, Tim Olstad(boring song choice,  and Chase Gohering and Lillie McClould(incredible voice, but sleepy).
