Not yet final X Factor predictions 2/Myths

I've watched the top 16 performances of the top 12  over a few times and watched the  meet the 12 and realized I've made a few mistakes and errors in my judgement.

I remember saying Alex & Sierra are not going to make it far. Truth is I only based it on their most recent performance, because the other one's were so good. But I'm going to be seriously annoyed if they put on another lounge performance. They have a shot at the title. I also said Sweet Suspense was the only group that had a shot. well , I was wrong, they do too.

I also remember although, speaking in his favor, called Tim's "Always" performance boring.  I rewatched and actually found it interesting. But still he should cover "just the way you are" by Bruno Mars. Unfortunately, things aren't looking to good for Tim.

Before I start predicting the rankngs,  I will list  opinions about the season of XFUSA that I think are myths

Myth: Restless Road will win:
Yeah, maybe they will make it somewhat far, but I honestly don't see them winning. They might be popular, but this is a talent contest. Maybe it's just me, but I don't like their music, it hurts my ears. Even if they have talent, their gimmicks will be their doom.

Myth : Rion & Carlos  are only in because of their condition.
Seriously, I hear people saying Carlos is like Lazaro??? Really? Talentwise and personality wise, Carlos is leaps in bounds ahead of Lazaro in both(No offense). He isn't prideful. And Rion, has a voice that would make you think she's much older than she is. She's basically the country version of Beatrice Miller, but better.

Myth: The boys category is WEAK:
While they may not be as popular as the other categories, the boys have talent. And unlike S12 of American Idol ( which I thought was decent),  one of them can perform upbeat songs WELL (Carlito), one actually knows who they are as an artist (Carlos) and Tim has one of the better voices in the competition, unfortunaately I have a feeling his time is soon up.

Myth: The X Factor USA is boring, predictable, and rigged:
While their might be some bias( Restless Road for example) among the judges, the show isnt rigged. Usually the biased groups, when it gets down to the  climax rounds  of the competition, the more talented act outlast the biased acts anyway. Simon would've made sure E3 one last year if it were rigged, and Levi and Martin would've still been in had this show been rigged..  We wouldn't have as diverse set of acts nor a variety of genres. While there are 3 country acts( 2 of which are good in my opinion), there's Lillie, the  diva singer, theres the  semi-rocker, a latin music act   a pop/soul powerhouse ,and there's Ellona an R&B act, a pop/R&B girl group,  an acoustic group, and two acts that could be described as classical, but there' genre's are clearly different.  that's basically  at least 8 genres of music in acts.

Anyways I've listed the myths  of the XFUSA, now I will start ranking them

12. Tim Olstad_ People are calling him boring, and unless he changes it up while being himself, I dont see people voting for him, when his category, and the other categories are packed full of talent.

11. Jeff Gutt- Honestly, he's even less interesting than Tim, but his being a rock act combined with him being from last season  will push him a little farther, but I doubt he has a chance of winning, unless he can actually rock out

10. Restless Road- Maybe I'm wrong, but if they don't end here, they won't get much further. Unless they actually coordinate the performances and lessen the gimmicks( the deep voice at the "right" time, and the weird dance moves ) They will get old really fast.  Plus i think both of their performance sound somewhat similar. Also fans of the show woudn't want to vote for them much out of the fear that another country winner might be enough to cancel x factor.

9. Lillie McCloud- People usually outrage at the best singer around 8th place in this competition. But that combined with a lot of people thinking she shouldnt have been on because she sold albums already, and her usually sleepy performances being considered "the best" by the judges, combine to make her fall even lower

8. Ellona Santiago- In my opinion, she has one of the weakest voices left in the competition. She's decent, but  her performance of "Til the World Ends" wasnt as energetic as made out to be.  People will grow bored of her. Plus again people will put the "fairness" thing out again, like they did with Arin last year.

7. Carlito- unless he combines his energetic performance of maria Maria with his emotional performance of "Dreaming of you", this is the farthest he will go

5/6. Rachael- She's good , and tlaneted, but people do NOT want country to win to years in a row

5/6. Rion- same as above.

4. Carlos- People  will connect with his wonderful voice and stage presence.

Finale

Call me crazy, but I have a feeling 2 groups will make the finale along with the last girl Khaya Cohen

3.  Khaya- Heck, both groups will make the final 2.  People like Khaya, but I don't know if she will win

2. Alex&Sierra- as long as they don't look like their rehearsing for a Vegas bar , I'll be ok with them Looks like people are ok with them though even if they do look like that, because their xfusa video of blurred lines is strangely popular. The question is though people like them, and they have great voice, are they marketable? The might be.

1. Sweet Suspense- Girl groups are reaally popular in the X Factor USA. They already have a huge fan base filled with lots of fans, not just from  the 5H fan base, but fans from other's too.  And like 5H(not saying they are identical to 5H, because they are their own group), they will have success, and Simon would not be smart to jeopardize them if for some strange reason they were in the bottom two with one of his own other groups( the unlikely winner, RR, or the questionably marketable A&S. The second one would make a little more sense though). If SS does get wrongfully  eliminated, it wouldn't increase anyone's chances of winning by much except A&S and Khaya.
